What We Do

  Current Work
  • Working with Latin America Theological Seminary (Facultad) providing graduate level education (master's degree) to students in the Spanish-speaking world. Presently there are over 600 students (including National Superintendents) involved in eight regional sites*. Facultad offers the highest academic degree by the Assemblies of God in this area of the world.

* Three three-credit courses per module per site annually

  • Promoting Facultad ministry among the ministers of the Latin world and the USA churches.

  • Training national representatives in the various Latin countries.

Near-Future Plans

  • Raising the needed funds and assisting in the development of a doctoral program within the Latin world.

  • Raising the needed funds to translate and publish more textbooks in Spanish for our courses.

  • Obtaining funding to provide grants for students.

About Facultad

Founded in 1988, Facultad exists to serve the national ministry leadership within the 22 nations that it serves (see Facultad Attendance by Country). With over 600 students now enrolled, Facultad continues to grow in importance and value to those nations. The students which make up the population range from national superintendents/secretary-treasurers, Bible school teachers, and pastors, to missionaries being sent out from the various nations.

The impact of the classroom experience flows into the many dynamics of life such as the pew, the undergraduate classroom, the streets, and the jungles (through evangelism principles and skills learned). Seventy percent of the current student population serve as undergraduate Bible school teachers, representing over 21,000 undergraduate students! We are providing more than degrees--we are life changers!

Denny's Role

Denny’s background of Bible school work in Spain, administrative responsibilities as he served as the Director of Youth and Christian Education (southern New England) and his role as a staff and senior pastor have provided a tremendous training ground to assist him in his role at Facultad. His Master of Arts in Biblical Literature, in conjunction with his present work on a Doctor of Missiology degree, give him a sound base to teach the courses he carries with Facultad (primarily missions courses).
